Dear Alissa,
Sooo..... I had to get on to redesign your blog and write a post to brighten your day!!! (Yes, I still remember your password).
I know you have been struggling with the whole school thing and I wish there was more I could do to help! So today while I sit at work, I decided to write up all the blessings that come from school and more specifically... Weber State!
- If it weren't for Weber, we wouldn't have gone to New York. (Yes, we would be less in debt but our memory banks would be empty!)
- If you didn't have school to get up for everyday... you wouldn't wake up! Thus causing you to miss out on your opportunity to eat breakfast everyday. No one likes to wake up and eat lunch right away! ;) And it's unheard of for us to miss a meal... it's just not done...
- If it weren't for Weber, there wouldn't be an institute, and if there wasn't an institute we wouldn't have met Bro. Rappleye! (Okay, so your dating life wouldn't be as colorful but at least you learned a lot from those experiences!)
- If it weren't for Weber, we wouldn't understand the meaning of "Heck Hill".
- If it weren't for school, we wouldn't be able to have sluff days! We can't sluff a job like we can sluff Math!
- If it weren't for the Weber State Davis Campus, you would have never gained a love of sudoku puzzles and men named after building materials (Brick).
- If it weren't for school, you wouldn't know how to drive from my house to Ogden in less than 15 minutes.... or is it 20 minutes.... or 5 minutes?
- If it weren't for Weber, you wouldn't know how much you don't want to ever work in a preschool.... urine patches... yuck...
- If it weren't for Weber, you wouldn't know how to pronounce "Fatima"...
- If it weren't for school, you could craft all day!!! (Oh wait... that's a good thing... scratch that.)
- If it weren't for school, you wouldn't have a cute book bag, recycle buttons and colorful pens.
- If it weren't for Weber, you wouldn't know how to use the public transportation system. (You are becoming pro with the Dee Events Center bus!)
and last but not least....
- If it weren't for Weber State, you wouldn't be my bestest friend because that's where we met! :)
Love, Cynthia

have you ever been....
Halloween!
She is called Swamp Creature Couture, but I think I am going to say I am poison ivy or "going green" haha a few people have said I look like Eve...but I seem to be missing my Adam :)! So I went to Ross and found a black dress and then me and my mom went to Dollar Tree and cleaned them out of fake leaves! I sat for hours hot gluing the leaves on to the dress (burning myself a few times) and voila I have a beautiful home made costume! Mallory is going to do my hair (she has a wig I am going to borrow) and my make-up! I am all set to party! Now we get let the festivities begin!
Great News!!

My favorite movie!
Oh my that man is F-I-N-E fine! Whew, talk about McDreamy and McSteamy combined!! He is one gorgeous male :)
Now I know you are probably thinking..wait I have heard of that name before..Dastan..hmm. You are probably thinking of the same Disney character I was; for their names are really similar. But don't confuse Dastan with another the other Disney character almost by the same name, Gaston, for they are completely different.
No Dastan is our hero in this story. He was raised on the streets of Persia as an orphan, fighting to stay alive. He jumps from the roof tops of the mud caked buildings, running away from the kings guards as he tries to save a boy being whipped by them and....wait. This story sounds strangely familiar....hmm. It sounds like another movie I have seen....oh wait...I know what it is...Aladdin! Yes! Dastan is Aladdin in modern day!
Gotta keep, one jump ahead of the breadline. One swing ahead of the sword. I steal only what I can't afford...That's everything!
Haha you will be singing this as he jumps around the rooftops :) I know Kristina and I did! Like I said before this is a movie worth watching!
Let's take one last look at perfection...

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
Here is the outside decorations. We had a blow up snow globe (thanks to the Bills family!)
Every table had a Christmas table cloth and Christmas center pieces.
Of course it wouldn't be Christmas with out a Tree! :)
We decorated Christmas sugar cookies, it was a big hit with the kids!
And the big man himself made a special appearance for the event! Jolly ole St. Nick made it all the way from the North Pole to wish me a Merry Birthday!
Here is Santa's Helper...Grant!
Of course EVERYONE had to sit on Santa's knee :)
We just had to show off our lovely sweaters!!
The ugly sweater contest was so much fun! I couldn't believe how many people showed up in a sweater in August!!
Of course the night ended with dancing (how could it not!) and a little bit of Karaoke :)
A big thanks to all who made this year's birthday so special. Merry Christmas or Birthday to all and to all a good night!!

Guess what's almost here......
Not angry...HAPPY :)
Like you he's the middle child, Like you he is not a smoker, You both dig dinning out
I just wanted to say thank you for the match suggestion of HotStuff7109, MacGeek2 and Teddybear01. I can really see the potential for these young men...because I know that 30 is the new 20 they are considered young men. Some of our common interests include: bowling, weight lifting/machines, pets (specifically dogs), walking/hiking, dancing, and dinning out. And the exciting thing is we are both the middle child! That is such a great conversation piece!
Now the only concern I have is that they are looking for a slender, athletic and toned, a few extra pounds, or curvy woman that is 3'0"-8'0". I am none of these. Well when life gives you lemons make lemonade I guess, so we will just see if they can handle a girl that is 5'5" and full-figured.
Thanks again

Haha I just had to write a few things match.com would tell me and my match had in common. I am quite enjoying being on there. There is actually more LDS people than I thought there would be. So far so good :)
