Moving, Colds and No More Reruns

So for the past week I have had this cold that has kept me from really doing anything. I missed school and work last week which sucks cuz now I am behind in homework, which is nothing new I suppose. I hate having colds in the summer time, I can handle them in the winter but not in the summer I dont know why. So I have officially moved in with my sister! It is pretty exciting living there it is kinda like living on my own...kinda ;) It is really great, she is an awesome sister and I am very grateful to her. Her one cat Saila sleeps with me every night, and I love it! We are getting along great, we usually do but have our moments, but I think we are both grown up alot since we last lived together. I love this time of year, not for just the cool nights and changing of leaves but also for the season premiers of all my favorite shows!! Oh and can I mention how much I love DVR it is one of the best inventions (that and indoor plumbing haha) Can't wait to watch Heros, The New Adventures of the Old Christine, Two and a Half Men, CSI, The Office and My name is Earl!! Heres to prime time :)

Weber State is great, great, great!

So I totally stole this from Melissa but here is a breakdown of my schedule for this semester:
Tuesday
9am-Old Testament with Brother Rappleye (Cynthia, Krystle and I) -I was a little nervous to take the Old Testament cuz it is not one of my favorites but I knew that with Bro. Rappleye it would be worth it and it so is. I have learned so much in just this week it is great!
10am-10:50 Tuesday Devotional. It is great to hear a different speaker every week, it is like an EFY session!
11:30am 12:45pm- English 2010 with Professor Ron Deeter- I had him last semester for english 1010 and really enjoyed the class so I thought why not take English from him again. We are reading Heart of Darkness, it is going to be a lot more writing than last semester so I hope I am up for it.
1pm-2:15Education 1010 Intro to Teaching with Professor Paul Pitts (Cynthia, Krystle and I)-this class is sooo much fun, we read children books at the start of every class-its amazing!
Break from 2:15 till 5:30 Travel to Davis Campus for math
5:30pm-7:20-Math 1010 with Professor Tanya Syrett (Cynthia and I)- Math is not my highlight of school so I am having a hard time but I am with Cynthia so all is well.
7:30-9pm- Teaching of the Living Prophets with Sister Shuppe (Cynthia and I). WOW! Is really all I can say about this class, I absolutely enjoy Sis. Shuppe :) She is amazing, she can be telling a funny story but bring in the Spirit so strong I am crying (and I am really crying) I am so grateful for this class.

Thursday
There are a few changes but not many. There is no devotional on Thursdays so instead us girls signed up for Lunch committee (well Cynthia kinda said me and Krystle were doing it) So from 11:15 to 12:30 we serve lunch to the students for $2, I have class so I am just helping before. Can you say FUN or what! The other difference is there is no night Institute class so my day ends at 7:20 instead of 9.

Well there you have it the school schedule of a 22 year old girl going to Weber State! :)

Happy Birthday Corianne and Goodbye to Dustin

It is with a bittersweet hoorah that we sing happy birthday to Cori as it is on the eve of Dustin leaving for Korea. Oh gosh I have not cried so much in these past 2 weeks that I can remember for a long time. My dear sweet sister is on an emotional rollercoaster and I pray that I can help her any way I can, especially in the next few days. I keep reminding myself that a year will fly by but right now all I see is the number 365, well at least she has all her family and friends surrounding her with love.
